So clear that I was hoodwinked into this cult. Yes, I said a cult! Sadly my husband thinks this is the greatest thing since garlic bread.

It's Too Late to Return to Jehovah!
by naazira inyes friends it is too late for most of you to return to jehovah's org.
based on the new garlic bread parable in this month's broadcast with the illustration using loaves of bread.
it is obvious that the doors of the arc has been closed shut by jehovah's hand for some of us.. according to the new parable that can be found on jw tv.

Evaluating the problem of sexual abuse of children within the JW religion, why, how and for what reason
by Finkelstein inthis topic has come up many times before on this forum and others but i think its worthy to reevaluate where and how this problem exists from an analytical perspective within the jw religion.
it is obvious that the wts has been covering up situations of child sexual abuse with careless irresponsible apathy for decades toward both possible victims and potentially identified perpetrators of this socially repugnant crime.
following guidelines as written in the bible which were emulated and exploited as a self protecting guideline to protect the outward image of the organization overall in spite of known acknowledgement that pedophilia is a serious crime in most countries.

What a powerful and telling video. Nobody can deny that Jehovah is no longer blessing this organization. -

It is 5am and I still can't sleep. Contemplating life, doing research on religion, world history, science...
by Stepford Wife inmy husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.
i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.
i have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving.

My husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so I'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion. I don't know if I can believe in God anymore. I have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving. Besides, why must we conclude that God is loving? Because we exist? That's absurd. I think, therefore I am. That's it.
The whole story of Adam and Eve is bunk. Complete and utter nonsense, a forgery of ancient Mesopotamian tales and myths. That much is certain. The only part where I could consider a God or deity intervening or showing himself was Jesus but even his history is lacking conclusive evidence and may as well be a forgery. With that said, the script writers of Jesus' life did have a positive message, one of peace and love and that I can believe in. I'm all about love and peace, things which this world needs. I once heard my grandfather say, "Religion is complicated, God is simple." I believe that he is also right. The belief in God is necessary for many people to use as a crutch to get by in life to give them meaning. I never needed that although I wanted to believe that the misery and suffering would end and that there was a higher power. It is easier to believe that than to accept the fact that we are alone in the universe and there is nothing else. It seems so empty without the thought that someone up there cares and will remember you. It doesn't matter. I still believe in being kind and loving no matter what because IF there is a supernatural being I would hope he would remember me for being this way. Ok my rant is over. I can now go to bed. Good night!

I have been literally overwhelmed with support and kind words from all of you guys and I want to take the time to thank ya'll for that. I know I don't know most of you personally but I appreciate the love. I am going to be positive. My daughter expressed her desire to never go to another meeting with her dad and I told her I'll support her no matter what. No cult is going to destroy the love I have for my daughter and if my husband chooses this cult over his family then he can get out and I'll sign the papers tomorrow. I am at that point in my life now although it is not what I want. -

Koncep and everyone here thank you for your help. I'm so depressed. I think about this day and night. I feel so sick thinking about it. My sister who is not a witness told me to get a lawyer and document everything. If they d/f me then I can sue them for libel and defamation in a group of people that know me. She studied law so I think she is right.
I am thinking about this. If they even dare mention anything about d/f or anything I will sue their asses off and bring it to the Supreme Court if necessary. I'm not joking. I'm at that point. I will raise hell.

Cadelin I can really sympathize with you! I almost started crying thinking about it because our daughter is involved and being forced to go. Shes the best daughter anyone could ask for and smart but this is not her religion and I won't force her.
I just hope my husband does not say anything to them. It is his word against mine and I will lie to save my family!

Scenic wow thank you for that info! Ok now I'm going to throw one more thing out there. What if I leave my husband? What will they do then? I'm thinking about it because my husband is still forcing my daughter to go to the meetings and she doesn't want to. I won't force her anymore!
Now if my husband was to say to them that I questioned the blood issue, would his word of mouth be enough to get me dis-fellowshipped even if I do not meet with them??????

Finkel thank you for that. My husband told me that they will ask me that question so since you are also confirming this then it is true. My husband was a loving man when. His attitude has changed the more active he became. Anyways thank you for your advice!.
